ORDERING QUESTIONS

Is it safe ordering with buybudnow.ca?

As of last count, there are at least 25 mail order marijuana sites operating in Canada. Some of these sites have been shipping marijuana in the mail since the early 1990's and to date, as far as we know there has never been a person charged for receiving weed in the mail.

With that said, there is still some minor risk that your package may be confiscated by Canada Post. In our experience we have seen only 0.1% (that's one in a thousand) packages being held by Canada Post. If this happens to you, you will get a letter telling you you can go pick it up if you want (which you should not do unless you have a medical marijuana user's license to show them.) If you are the one in a thousand this happens to, we will replace your order free of charge one time per customer.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

What payment methods do you accept?

At this time all payments are made via Interac E-transfer. You must be set up to use online banking with a Canadian bank or credit union. Payment instructions are sent to you after you place your order in an Order Confirmation Email. If you do not know how to do an Interac E-transfers, please read about it HERE

What are the shipping fees?

Shipping fees are $15 for orders under $200. For orders over $200 shipping is paid for by us. Orders are shipped by Xpresspost and a tracking number will be emailed after your order ships. You will receive your order in 1-3 business days. You must allow for an extra two or three business days if you live in a remote part of Canada.

What will happen to my order if I don't submit payment?

Your order will be kept on hold until we receive your E-transfer. If we do not receive your E-transfer payment within 2 days of placing the order, your order will be cancelled and you will just have to fill up a new shopping cart from scratch.

DELIVERY QUESTIONS

What happens if I don’t get my package?

If you do not get your package 2 days after the expected arrival date, let us know and we will file a trace with Canada Post. If a trace is filed, Canada Post will conduct an investigation (which can take 5 business days to complete). If they can locate the package, they will ship it to you and you'll get it a few days later. If it's deemed "unrecoverable", we will replace your order free of charge. We can do this only one time per customer.

My tracking number does not work. Help!

Just before driving your order to the post office we email your tracking number. Until it has been scanned in at the post office, your tracking number will not be trackable on the Canada Post website. So please wait until the end of the day for your tracking number to appear correctly.

Canada Post tracking information has not updated recently

If your package status on Canada Post's website hasn't updated as it should it may not have been scanned at the post office. If you do not receive your package 2 days after your expected date, let us know by reply to the Order Confirmation Email or Order Complete Email and we will file a trace with the post office.

Do I have to use my real name?

We suggest you do use your real name. If you are not there to accept the delivery, you will be left a Canada Post “For Pick Up” slip and be asked to pick it up at a nearby post office. If your identification doesn’t match the name on the parcel, you won’t be able to pick it up.
